ASME was one of 34 professional societies participating in the event. ASMEs Executive Director/CEO Tom Costabile shared his knowledge and expertise with a number of parents and students who stopped by the booth with questions about the field of mechanical engineering and employment opportunities after graduation. ASMEs booth was supported by Patricia Reddington, director, Safety Codes and Standards; Kathleen Peterson, SC project engineering advisor; Reza Chubak, chair of the ASME Westchester Section; and Tony Licata, a member of the Energy Conversion Storage Segment Leadership Team. A number of military academies, local junior and four-year colleges and regional institutions also participated in the event.
